Gateway Germany provides a full suite of services from technical evaluation to help secure job seeking visa to finding a job in Germany to help finding accommodation to getting Blue Card to help integrating in Germany to finally relocating your family.
2What is the "EU Blue Card"?
The EU Blue Card (Blaue Karte EU) is a residence title for academics outside the EU who wish to work in an EU member state. To obtain an EU Blue Card, applicants are required to have a university degree and a work contract which meets the minimum gross salary requirement.
3What is a job seeker visa?
The job seeker visa for Germany is a long term residency permit, which allows you to stay in the country for six (6) months and look for a job. If at the end of the six (6) months you have found a place of employment, you will be given the Germany work visa or a Germany work permit and you will be allowed to work and live there. Please note that having a job seeker visa does not allow you to start working immediately in Germany. It only means that you can visit the country and look for a job during your stay.
4When can I apply for a visa?
You are free to apply 90 days before the date of your travel for a German visa. It is recommended that you apply 3-6 weeks in advance before you travel to avoid any visa processing delay issues interfere with your travel itinerary.
